so where did I go ? I never honestly meant to stay gone the 8 years I stepped away from this blog. I have moved houses sense then. I have lost my mother, my grandfather and I even graduated from college with Associates of arts degree . I plan to try to update this blog a lot more than I did . if you want to catch more frequent of my historical writings and have social media I recommend you go on Facebook and search from a page called the Weston History Guild. I am one of the numerous administrators and update at least three or four times a week on Weston History in Collin county. I have had alot of major life changes in those times that I was not on my blog and I do apologize. My mother Cindy died in 2020. My grandfather James Paul died in 2023 after a broken hip. It has been and interesting road from 2017 until now.

in 2016 I went to Celina Tennessee after I graduated to where my family had haled from all those years ago. Her i stand in front of where we thought Butlers landing was on the Cumberland River.
in 2020 I converted to Catholicism after being a baptist for over 30 years. the church pictured above is Saint Annes in Sherman Texas.
I have made a habit of visiting several churches over the years since converting in 2020 and like to photograph the windows . These windows come from St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Mckinney texas.
