Tattoed on her face- Olive Oatman Fairchild.


Olive Anne Oatman -Farchild born in 1837 and was later captured by Indians after her family was killed, only her and her sister Mary survived to be later enslaved by the Mohave Indians.  While with the Indians a blue cactus needle tattoo was exacted onto her skin. The Indians treated her kindly, Her sister Mary did not fair well dying from starvation . She was ransomed by the army at Fort Yuma in 1856 she later married J.B fairchild. many plays, books and movie have been made from her life.
